Service
Bookkeeping that is current every week, not every month.
Outsourced bookkeeping from ProvenCFO means transactions coded weekly, every account reconciled, and a monthly close with AR and AP agings you can act on. Built on QuickBooks Online or Xero, with BILL, Ramp and Gusto connected so the data arrives on its own.
From $400 a month

Is this the right level?
- You run the numbers yourself and want them right, on time, every month.
- A bookkeeper left, or the current one is behind and you are tired of chasing.
- Your CPA sends a cleanup list every spring and the return is late every year.
- You want AP, payroll and sales tax handled on a system, with you approving, not entering.

Questions
What software do you use?
QuickBooks Online and Xero for the ledger. BILL for bills and approvals, Ramp for cards and expenses, Gusto for payroll. We are a QuickBooks ProAdvisor Platinum firm and a Xero, BILL and Gusto partner. We work in your file, which stays yours.
How is weekly bookkeeping different from monthly?
Monthly books are reconstructed after the fact, so the cash position is always a month old. Weekly books mean the 13-week cash forecast and the AR calls run on real numbers. For a company paying $250,000 of bills a month, that difference is the whole point.
Who does the work?
A named bookkeeper on our team does the coding and reconciliations. An American controller reviews every close before it goes to you and is your point of contact.
What does it cost?
From $400 a month for a single entity with a modest transaction count. Price rises with entities, transaction volume, inventory and project accounting. We quote a fixed monthly price after a 20-minute call and a look at the file. See the pricing page.
Can you clean up a mess first?
Yes. Catch-up and cleanup is priced as a one-time project, then the monthly bookkeeping takes over.
Do you do taxes too?
Yes, through licensed CPAs who prepare and sign returns from the books we close. See tax.
